Embracing Failure

This is a couple of years old, but the messages are so important, I thought I'd share them. J.K. Rowling on the fringe benefits of failure.

"What we achieve inwardly will change outer reality." -Plutarch.

How will your imagination inspire change?

  1. My imagination inspired my dream to write after losing my job teaching. I let it go and play. I've been trying to keep up with it ever since. It made me a much happier person for it.

  4. I love that video. I saw Opera talking with her about that very speech. It was great to hear the speech.
Failure is not what drives me. But when my first book failed I became free to write the book I wanted to write. I stripped back everything else and I am now writing what I most need and want to read. So yes, failure can be a very good thing.
